The most important duties of your wedding DJ are to coordinate the formalities and entertain your guests in celebration of your special day.

Your ceremony and reception require careful planning. I will take extra care to insure that all your needs are fulfilled.

For your ceremony, you will have the opportunity to select the appropriate music for pre-wedding gathering, ceremony, unity candle and the celebration march. I provide sound support for the minister and live accompaniment.

During the first half of your reception, your grand entrance, first dance, cake cutting and other scheduled events will be clearly and professionally announced.

Music selection is very important.  A DJ’s job is to entertain… not overwhelm. During dinner, a soft background mix of standards sets the mood.

Once the dancing starts, expect an awesome selection of fun party music. I use a computerized database with an on-line connection... downloading requests in minutes!

I stay up to date on the latest hits and love to play requests…from Aunt Sara’s big band request to Coldplay.
Let’s talk about money… Some of the best DJ’s in LA charge $ 1500 – 2500 for 4 hours, some even demand extra for lighting! My concept is to negotiate a fair price for my skill, experience and equipment. My goal is to provide superior service in 3 main areas;

• Professional and Courteous… I will be on-time and nicely dressed. You will never be embarrassed or hear in- appropriate music. I have performed at over 1200 weddings.
• My equipment systems are high quality and reliable…  I have the latest in computer mixing equipment, expensive wireless mics, powerful amps and speakers, intelligent LED lighting and a projector and screen if you need a video or photo montage show.
•  Event announcing and music selection… This is where my expertise kicks in. A club DJ or “friend of the family” lack the experience to conduct the formalities, have the appropriate background music, interface with the other vendors and still create a seamless wedding experience. The “price” might be right… but is it worth the risk?

This economy has created a challenge for all of us. The typical reaction is to consider cut rate pricing to make ends meet. Wouldn’t you rather have superior service at a fair price?

A recent American Disc Jockey survey indicated that before the wedding… most bridal couples put the “importance” of the DJ in the 30%range… After the wedding, they rated DJ services above 75% important ... why? … Expectations!

As you plan your event… the time, the place, the food, the photos, the dress, who is coming… all way more important than the DJ (it’s OK… I’m used to it…). Then the day comes, the ceremony is over in 20 minutes… then the pictures, food, 1st dance and cake… as Emeril would say BAM! Your wedding event is half over…

It’s funny… ever been to a reception where 40% of the room leaves after the cake is cut?  Ever wonder why? Because the DJ failed to set the expectation that the party is worth staying for… A telltale sign of an in-experienced DJ that sits behind a bench and pushes “play”
